Rougarou Mead & Meats was founded by three college friends who shared a passion for great food, Louisiana traditions, and the memories created around the table.
From backyard barbecues and crawfish boils to family gatherings and holidays, some of our best moments were spent cooking for the people we care about most.

 

Like many Louisiana families, food was always more than a meal. It was how we celebrated milestones, brought generations together, shared stories, and created lasting memories. We learned early on that great food has a way of putting smiles on faces and turning ordinary gatherings into unforgettable experiences.

 

Over the years, we spent countless weekends perfecting recipes and seasoning blends for family and friends. As more people began asking what we used and where they could buy it, we realized we had the opportunity to share those flavors beyond our own backyard.
